Join The Cast - Grades K-12 (Places Limited)
Performers in grades K-12 can guarantee their place in our remarkable show by registering in one of the ensemble groups below. Once enrolled you will have the option to audition for a lead or featured character… but you don’t have to.
If you are 12 years or younger, you’ll need to enroll in an ensemble group before you can sign up for an audition time. This means you’ll be cast in the musical regardless of the outcome of auditions! Yay!
Those 13 years and older can try their chances in the audition room without pre-enrolling in the ensemble, click the link at the bottom of this amazing list of facts.
Roles and/or ensemble groups are not gender-specific.
The division of the ensemble groups is not set in stone. Once auditions conclude, there’s a chance you may be asked to transfer to a different group: a decision based purely on the good of you and the show.
If you’re unable to attend the weekly rehearsal for your age group, then please let us know. We are happy to schedule an assessment with the director in the hope that you can be placed in another ensemble group that fits your schedule.
For anyone (K-12) who is planning on enrolling in the show but would like to learn more about our optional auditions for leads/featured characters, click the link at the bottom of this amazing list of facts.
Once you have completed registration you’ll receive a link to the audition sign-up page quicker than you can say “down the rabbit hole."
Those who have signed up for a time will be given access to the “Audition Hub” on August 16th. The Hub will walk you through all the details explaining what to expect and how to prepare.
For this show, we will provide you with everything you need to audition including character-specific songs/scenes. No outside songs/monologues are necessary for performers 12 years and younger.
If you are 13 years are older, you are welcome to present a song or monologue of your choosing (up to 1 min in length) in addition to the supplied scenes/songs, but you don’t have to.
If you’re on the fence about auditioning, we recommend that you still sign up for a time. This way, you can view the scenes and songs for each character. If you then decided not to audition and are happy with your ensemble role(s), you can cancel your booking.
